Joseph Isenberg, Esq.
Born and raised in Miami, FL, Joseph B. Isenberg or “Joey” as his friends and family know him, is a dedicated attorney with ties to the South Florida and Cuban American communities. After graduating from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, Mr. Isenberg attended undergraduate at the University of Florida. There he served as a leader on campus, as both the Vice-President of the National Residence Hall Honorary and a Resident Assistant.
After graduating from the University of Florida, Mr. Isenberg attended law school at the nationally renowned Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington, VA. During his time at Washington and Lee, Joey served as the President of the Latin American Law Students Association and Editor of the Law News. He displayed excellence in oral and written advocacy through his heavy involvement in Moot Court. He won the 2018 Hispanic National Bar Association Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition. Also, Mr. Isenberg coached teams to strong finishes in the 2018 and 2019 New York University National Immigration Law Moot Court Competition. While at law school, Mr. Isenberg dedicated himself to fighting against employer Occupational Safety and Health violations and abuses. He worked both for the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry litigating OSH Act and VOSH compliance violation cases and Washington and Lee’s Advanced Administrative Black Lung Legal Clinic representing coal miners afflicted with Coal Worker’s Pneumoconiosis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and other occupational respiratory disorders.
Mr. Isenberg also, clerked for Goldberg & Rosen, P.A., helping to represent injured plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases – including on developing groundbreaking guardrail negligence litigation.
Currently, Mr. Isenberg specializes in litigating personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and other negligence cases as an attorney at Goldberg & Rosen, P.A. His background in Occupational Safety and Health law provides unique perspective for the firm and his clients. Mr. Isenberg also serves as Chair of the Membership and Diversity Committee of the American Bar Association, Section of Litigation – Pretrial Practice and Discovery. Mr. Joseph B. Isenberg is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
