Angel Leyva, ESQ.
Born and raised in Miami-Dade County, Angel Leyva learned the value of hard work at a young age. While attending G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School, he worked nights at McDonald’s. Following high school, Mr. Leyva was hired as a file room clerk at Goldberg & Rosen, P.A. Almost immediately, he was promoted to the pre-litigation department with a caseload of 150 files. Hard work continued during Florida International University undergraduate where Mr. Leyva worked 50 hour weeks at Goldberg & Rosen and graduated with a degree in psychology. By the time Mr. Leyva was admitted into St. Thomas University School of Law, he was the supervisor of the pre-litigation department, where he was managing several hundred cases.
During law school, Mr. Leyva was the recipient of the Dean’s list award and excelled in his Torts, Civil Procedure, and Trial Advocacy classes. His desire to become a trial attorney drove him to join the prestigious mock trial team, where he competed in several mock trial competitions across the country. Mr. Leyva was a law clerk at Goldberg & Rosen his entire law school career. After passing the bar exam, he was hired by the firm and is currently litigating cases involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, automobile collisions, and premises liability.
Mr. Leyva feels that it is his calling to defend the community against the giant corporations and insurance companies who aim to take advantage of the everyday person.
