Maria Papasakelariou, Esq.
Maria Papasakelariou is passionate about advocating for those who need a voice. Ms. Papasakelariou began her career working as a defense lawyer where she witnessed first-hand how large corporations can take advantage of the rights of others. This experience led her to transition in her career, and she now focuses her practice on representing those who have been seriously injured.
Ms. Papasakelariou earned her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami where she majored in international relations and political science. Thereafter, she earned her law degree, cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law, where she was a recurring member of the Dean’s List. She also served as Executive Symposium Editor of the FIU Law Review. While in law school, she earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Education Law and Local Government Law.
Ms. Papasakelariou is licensed in Florida, Texas, and in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the Dade-County Bar Association.
Ms. Papasakelariou is fluent in Greek and Spanish, and she is very proud of her Greek-Venezuelan heritage.
