A Miami native, Jorge Simon graduated summa cum laude from Florida International University and cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, making the Dean’s List consistently. He also distinguished himself interning for Judge Lisette Reid of the U.S. Southern District of Florida and Judge Bronwyn Miller of the Florida Third DCA, where he deepened his command of state and federal law.

Mr. Simon first discovered his calling as an injury attorney clerking at Goldberg & Rosen P.A. during his second year of law school. Assisting in litigating complex cases and advocating for suffering clients, Mr. Simon found purpose fighting callous insurers. Before joining Goldberg & Rosen as licensed counsel, Mr. Simon worked at a large insurance defense firm, where he gained invaluable and rare insight into insurer claim valuation tactics. He saw firsthand how carriers treat suffering clients like numbers on a spreadsheet, leveraging technicalities to avoid just and reasonable resolutions.
Now when negotiating, Mr. Simon uses this insight into the insurance playbook to achieve justice for injury victims, flipping their own cold calculus against them. At Goldberg & Rosen, Mr. Simon litigates auto negligence, premises liability, product liability, and medical malpractice claims. He leverages his hometown ties and fluent Spanish to battle negligent actors and insensitive insurance carriers, leveling the playing field for local victims.
