Ms. Wispe Attended Southwest Miami High School, as a 2008 graduate.

Mr. Lopez was born and raised in Hialeah, FL. He graduated from Hialeah Senior High School and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami.

Mr. Lopez graduated Cum Laude at the University of Miami and was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, the largest co-ed professional law fraternity in the United States. Mr. Lopez then pursued his legal education at Nova Southeastern University Shepherd Broad Law Center where he was a member of the Dean’s list.

Mr. Lopez passed the July 2011 Florida Bar Examination and is pending being sworn in. Upon admission, Mr. Lopez will join the team of attorneys at Goldberg and Rosen.

Kathleen Ortega was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Ms. Ortega contributes precisely the type of young and energetic force that would drive any workplace. Ms. Ortega has an impressive history of academic achievements. After graduating from Saint Brendan High School in 2005, Ms. Ortega enrolled in Florida International University. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in 2009, majoring in Biological Sciences. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Academic Honor Society, as well as the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. She was a member of the “Dean’s List” and recipient of multiple scholarships during the course of her collegiate education.

Ms. Ortega had an immediate impact on the firm. Ms. Ortega’s work at the firm focuses on complex litigation that usually involves catastrophic injury and/or wrongful death. In addition to actively participating in this department, she also serves as a personal secretary to Mr. Judd G. Rosen. Ms. Ortega’s superb analytical skills, conflict resolution abilities and capacity to relate with clients on a personal basis are absolutely indispensable to the firm. She continues to work diligently to ensure that every case that she is involved in finds an optimal resolution. Additionally, as a past member of the American Medical Student Association, Ms. Ortega is able to contribute valuable medical insight and knowledge to the litigation of intricate medical malpractice cases.

Though Ms. Ortega’s superb educational curriculum was enough to impress the senior partners at Goldberg & Rosen, it was her active involvement as a volunteer in special needs and charitable organizations that captured the heart of the firm. Nicole Singletary was born and raised in Miami, Florida. A graduate of Florida State University, prior to joining the Goldberg & Rosen team Nicole worked in Tallahassee for the Capital’s Economic Development Council.

While there Nicole managed all aspects of the organization, handling tasks such as bookkeeping, customer service, grant and application processing, report preparation and ongoing communications with the City of Tallahassee and the Governor’s Office.

Nicole has a formal education and continuing professional education in business administration; marketing and client relations; and promotions planning and implementation.
